The next day, early in the morning, we went to reef Abu Dabab III to do our checkdive.
The second dive on that day was already at Elphinstone reef, where we saw cornet fish, clown fish, lionfish, parrotfish and much more.
The same day we made a night dive at Abu Dabab VI, where my buddy and I could watch a turtle having its dinner and going to sleep then.

The next day we moved to Little Brother. Here we dived with multiple reef sharks, a humphead wrasses, barracudas, clown fish, butterflyfish and enjoyed the colorful marine life - not to forget the wealth of gorgonians. A cornet fish fell in love with my buddy, another one with me, which I did not notice at all and as you can see on the picture.

Then we moved on to Daedalus reef, where we expected to see hammerheads. My buddy and I did not see any on the first day and were quite disappointed when the others told us, that they have seen a hammerhead. But ... on our last dive we saw dolphins while diving ... and that made our day!

On the next day my buddy and I were really lucky! A hammerhead was quite curious and stayed quite long with the divers.
The second dive of that day we were lucky again and saw a school of hammerheads, but they were too far away to get them on the video.

Pittily we had to leave and went to Abu Dabab VII for a night dive. We saw lionfish, a blue dotted ray and a spanish dancer.

We spent the last day at Marsa Shouna reef, where we made our last two dives, where we had some more highlights like the guitar shark, morays, batfish, turtles, ...

The following day we had to leave the M/Y Thunderbird and our friends, flying back to Germany. It was a great week, which I will always remember, thanks to the great Thunderbird crew and especially to my friends!
